We had a lot of snow fall this weekend in Nashville. The freeways were plowed and salted in advance, but that’s about it. Conditions were treacherous - people crashing left and right. But, I was out of Pop Tarts.
Scrambler to the rescue!

How did it do? I’ve bicycled in the snow and it sucked.

And here I was thinking it was odd that I saw a sport bike out on our perfectly clear but very cold streets in MI.

My balance is really good from riding horses (at least a motorcycle doesn’t actively want you off of it) but it was still squirrelly. However, those knobby tires made it up hills that had piles of cars at the bottom. My Saab might have done better, but I actually felt safer on the bike because I didn’t want to risk a wreck in my beloved 9000 Aero.

I guess those horse riding lessons came in handy, that one day, which was yesterday (or today, or the day before yesterday).

If I still lived on the farm I would have just taken the horse to the store!

When I lived in Colorado I occasionally had to moped in the snow, but mopeds are a little safer than conventional motorcycles, since all the controls are on the handle bars you can put your feet down if you start to slip but still use both brakes.

9000 Aero and the Scrambler, I like your taste in vehicles.

This guy, this guy over here is a petrolhead. I’m not a big motorcycle guy, but I am a fan of small, light little bikes, and Italian vehicles, so....kudos to you kind sir! Also, what kind of Pop Tarts did you get...? Strawberry with the white icing are clearly the best.

The store only had four kinds of Pop Tarts, so I bought all of them.

Someone REALLY likes Pop Tarts and running out of Pop Tarts is officially an emergency.
You’ve made us proud!
